Stem cell rescue of vision in rats

The use of pluripotent stem cells in RCS rats was evaluated as a means to improve visual function in RCS rats. A region of the retina was treated and our image guided focal ERG module was used for testing. The electrical response of the treated portion demonstrated a significant increase relative to the untreated portion of the same eye.
